Frog Bog Dosenband goes on tour with "Dosenfest


Even 33 years after a handful of hard-drinking philistines recorded their debut demo tape "Wir lachen nur wenn's richtig lustig ist" ("We only laugh when it's really funny") on cassette, the Frog Bog Dosenband is a constant with its unabashed nonsense.


The group around Dr. Dr. Dräse from the southern district of Osnabrück released their current album "Wir ham ne Fahne" at the end of 2021 and landed sensationally 20 places behind ABBA and 16 places behind Helene Fischer at number 23 in the Official German Album Charts.

As a result, a huge media frenzy has since erupted around the band. NDR, Hitradio Antenne or DPA reported and thus from Süddeutsche to Kreiszeitung, from Die Welt to Stadtblatt Osnabrück large reports were to be found country widely in established media.

Since then, the band has played exclusively sold-out club concerts as well as other open airs in front of thousands of people. On the festival calendar suddenly the biggest events like Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze or Reload Festival. More will follow.

The big "Dosenfest" 2024 for the 33rd anniversary in the legendary Osnabrück Hyde Park was sold out in a few days and now the funfair rock band is going on tour.

Live, the Frog Bog can band opens a proper barrel. Loud and full of pure silliness, the six-piece formation and their "Volle Pulle Ballett" convince with great joy in playing, musical wit and a versatile repertoire.
