For 18 years now, the Hamburg-based band—winners of the Hamburg Band Contest—has been touring throughout Germany and Austria, steadily growing its fan base.They’re just as at home on big stages (Deichbrand Festival, NDR Stage at Kieler Woche) as they are on many small stages, countless clubs, festivals, and city festivals. While the band is still enjoying radio airplay for their current single “Das Frollein,” the quintet is already back in the studio working on their eighth album, set to be released this November—just in time for the band’s 18th anniversary.
There are really only two things to keep in mind for a Frollein Motte concert: warm up your voice so you can sing along, and pack your dancing shoes!
