Fruchtiger Beigeschmack

Der Fruchtiger Beigeschmack is a German-language indie jazz band from Munich. Their music combines indie songwriting with jazzy influences and places a special focus on German-language lyrics that combine personal experiences with social and political issues.

The trio regularly expands live, with piano, bass, trumpet and saxophone often joining the permanent line-up on stage. Over the past year, the band has played numerous concerts and discovered the stage as the central place for their musical expression.

With the upcoming single "ich hör' mich nicht", which will be released on 13.03.2026, Fruchtiger Beigeschmack shows their sound in a new clarity. The song deals with life in the city. Noise, chaos and anonymity cover the protagonist's dark thoughts. The protagonist cannot "hear" herself and falls into a state of apathy.
