This is how Matthias Pintscher once described his musical credo. And in this double function, Pintscher spans the spectrum from Schumann to Ravel to his own violin concerto "Assonanza."
The violin concerto, which was premiered in 2022 and is also highly virtuosic, can be experienced with the phenomenal dedicatee Leila Josefowicz. Beforehand, Matthias Pintscher and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen immerse themselves in the delicate sound worlds of Ravel's cycle "Ma mère l'oye," which was originally written for four piano hands. As the symphonic main work, Robert Schumann's "Spring Symphony" will be heard, of which he was all around "blissful" at the beginning of the year 1841 after a veritable rush of work.
