An icon, a celebrated global star, the woman with the smelliest voice in Germany: Hildegard Knef. An exceptional artist who never compromised her principles and wrote her own songs with disarming honesty.
On October 2 and 4, it’ll be raining red roses at the Piccolo Haventheater!
Isabel Zäumer, accompanied by her pianist Jan-Hendrik Ehlers, brings Knef’s restless life—from the rubble-strewn years in Berlin to Broadway—to life in an intense portrait through her lyrics, poems, and, of course, her unforgettable chansons!
Whether you grew up with her songs or want to discover Knef for the first time: This will be an enchanting evening, filled with music, poetry, and sassy wit—in other words, pure Knef. Curtain up for a legend!
