A stroke of fate catapults the once-successful actress Maria from the glamorous stage right into the gloomy prompter’s box.

From this unfamiliar vantage point, she gains entirely new insights: 

No one has a clue, but everyone chimes in. Apart from herself, there seems to be no genius capable of mastering the chaos. So she has no choice: she must take matters into her own hands! Otherwise, the world of the arts is doomed. Her methods are unconventional—her will is ironclad. 

From requiring underwear under skirts to her motto: Talent over beauty! And so, imperceptibly, the clever prompter reclaims her place. Row by row, she creeps back to where she belongs: onto the stage she loves so dearly.
