To coincide with the La Strada Festival, we are offering a free hands-on activity in the Portikus of the Wilhelm Wagenfeld Haus. Linda Gruet will be demonstrating how to use the furoshiki folding technique to turn a piece of cloth into a practical bag or gift wrap. Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese method of wrapping, carrying or storing things with a square cloth. This eco-friendly technique requires only a square cloth and replaces both wrapping paper and plastic bags for shopping. Registration for this workshop is not necessary!
