Descriptions:
Experimental dance performance
Duration: 20 minutes
What are the things that throw you off balance as easily as a piece of fluff? And in which moments do you feel a kick of energy, like when drinking a latte macchiato?
"Fussel im Latte" is an experimental dance performance inspired by a fleeting and seemingly meaningless image of sparkling dust particles in the beam of a spotlight. The choreography establishes a connection between everyday invisibility and the overwhelming feeling of adrenaline.
The piece invites us to recognize the grace in the inconspicuous and to engage intensively with our own emotions and instincts. It encourages you to become active, to take courage and to take the initiative.
The choreography was developed by Lydia Koch as a final choreography at the Erika Klütz School for Theater Dance and Dance Pedagogy in Hamburg. As part of the dance project ELAN Exit Like an Animal Dance Projects, she worked with a group of 11 committed dancers on an extension of the piece. In this new constellation, they met once a month for a weekend and rehearsed for five hours a day.
The work process is characterized by improvisation and the joy of experimenting and trying things out. It is not just about the further development of a choreography, but about each individual participant taking up his or her own space, without any restrictions or limits. Everyone can express themselves freely, experiment with ideas and movements and accept their own challenges.

dance theater
Duration: 32 minutes
Once upon a time, not so long ago, there was a king and a queen. They were a good royal couple and ruled their kingdom justly and prudently. You could say that everything was fine. Until one day the queen realized: Oh no! We have no children! Who will succeed us one day?
And so it begins, the search for suitable successors. Of course, everyone in the kingdom initially considers themselves to be the best choice. But what should a future king or queen actually be like? What qualities and skills should someone have to rule a kingdom? Of course, there are many different opinions here too. Will the royal couple manage to find a perfect successor for themselves?
In this freely invented story, the ensemble playfully explores what a democracy is and how it could have come about.
The MovingHeads ensemble consists of 3 groups of different ages:
Our focus is dance theater.
Anyone who also attends a dance class once a week can take part. Whether the class is in our studio or in another Munich studio is not decisive. The company classes take place every two weeks on Saturdays and are 90 - 120 minutes long (depending on age). The training is contemporary dance training.
When developing a piece, we sometimes work in groups (Mini Company, Junior Company, Company), sometimes all together. In order to do justice to all age groups, for example, the dance training takes place in the individual groups.
The choreographies for the play deal with the themes and feelings of the plot. They are partly predetermined, partly new movement material is developed through guided improvisation, from which choreography is created. When developing the choreographies, it is important to us to give everyone the opportunity to show off their dancing skills. This is why we always develop choreographies that the respective groups (Mini Company, Junior Company, Company) dance alone.

What is the climate impact ticket?
In cooperation with the PATHOS theater, we would like to take responsibility for the climate impact costs of theater operations together with our audience and thus set an example for a fair pricing policy.
The €2 or €4 surcharge on the ticket price will go 100% to the Climate Fair project, which promotes social and ecological transformation in Germany and here in Munich (e.g. through the construction of solar systems, green roofs and energy-saving projects).
You can find detailed information on the Pathos homepage.
