Julius Gawlik: A bold and versatile improviser on both saxophone and clarinet, his strikingly personal playing can be heard both as a leader and as a sideman in various projects on the European jazz and avant-garde scene. Gawlik's playing is the result of a passionate dedication to his craft, and his individuality is reflected on the canvas of his love and intimate knowledge of the music. While his musical influences and interests range from classical music and composition to folk and indie, Julius Gawlik's playing and writing is always connected to Black American music.
Luigi Grasso: In 2019, Luigi Grasso joined the renowned NDR Big Band in Germany. An opportunity that rewards a career in which he has established himself as one of the most prominent musicians on the current jazz scene.
Thorbjørn Stefansson is a Danish bassist from Aarhus and has lived in Berlin since 2019. After graduating from high school, he spent two years in Sweden at the renowned boarding school Skurup Folkshögskola. He is currently completing his bachelor's degree at the Jazz Institute Berlin at the University of the Arts. In recent years TB has played with many internationally renowned musicians (Loren Stillman, George Garzone, Jim Black, Jacky Terrasson, Jonas Burgwinkel). He is an important part of the young Berlin jazz scene. In 2021 he won the Jib Jazz Prize of the Karl Hofer Society as a soloist.
Ivars Arutyunyan: Is a musician and drummer who comes from a small and beautiful country near the Baltic Sea coast - Latvia. It was there that he took his first musical steps - singing at the age of two and starting classical piano at six and classical drums at 14, which led to him discovering the power and beauty of improvisation and drumming. Since then, it has been a dedicated path that has led him to international success and opportunities for further development as he travels the world.
