Charity run on Munich's car-free Altstadtring: A lap for an open society!

For the fourth time: We run together and collect donations for a good cause.

A stage program with live music and musical guests awaits the participants at the finish area - a celebration for the city. Our line-up has now been confirmed: Monobo Son and Vandalisbin will be playing. Hosted by Caro Matzko (BR) and Louis Gomez aka Shiny_G. Starting signal by our patron Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter. Sound along the route: Cpt. Yossarian aka Manuel da Coll (LaBrassBanda) with his bike sound system!

Right-wing populists make the poor and refugees into scapegoats and rant about isolation and remigration. But something is happening. In recent months, hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the streets to demonstrate against these attempts at division. A new solidarity is emerging. Munich is sticking together. At the Giro di Monaco, we're all doing a lap of the open society! Because it only works together!

Everyone can take part according to their abilities, social differences don't matter. Ambitious runners are just as welcome as people of all backgrounds, ages, with or without disabilities, families with children or pets. There is no start number and no timekeeping - the focus is on having fun.
