American saxophonist Scott Hamilton is one of the last global stars of swing. He inherited the genre from role models and contemporaries such as Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, Zoos Sims, and Gerry Mulligan. Hamilton played in Benny Goodman’s orchestra, and his own albums have been released on the renowned Concord Records label. John Goldsby served as the bassist for the WDR Big Band for 30 years after establishing himself as a “first-call” bassist in the

New York jazz scene as a first-call bassist. Goldsby has performed with numerous renowned musicians in concerts and recordings, including

Jon Hendricks, Lionel Hampton, Wynton Marsalis, George Benson, Michael Brecker, and Kenny Barron. Martin Sasse is one of Europe’s most celebrated jazz pianists and has accompanied world-renowned stars such as Steve Grossman, Dick Oatts, Harry Allen, Al Foster, Jimmy Cobb, Sting, and many others.

The trio plays jazz standards so captivatingly that you’d think you were on a journey back in time to the golden age of swing.
