Hand aufs Harz

Due to high demand, Germany’s most famous handball talk show, “Hand aufs Harz,” is embarking on its first-ever tour of Germany. Just a few weeks before the 2027 Handball World Championship—during which, among other events, main round matches and the final will be held at the LANXESS arena—hosts Anett Sattler and Markus Götz will bring their podcast to Cologne on Monday, November 23, 2026. The popular talk show will be hosted at the “Henkelmännchen,” the restaurant on the plateau of the LANXESS arena.

Anett Sattler and Markus Götz are part of the core team for the premiere tour. Since 2023, these prominent handball and sports hosts have been interviewing the who’s who of the Bundesliga and the national team on the iconic digital HBL show. In the two-hour live stage show, the multi-award-winning sports journalists Sattler and Götz chat with prominent guests from the worlds of handball, sports, and entertainment—and the guests always have a regional connection to the venue. Visitors can look forward to an entertaining, multifaceted, and engaging evening with plenty of interaction between the audience and the on-stage celebrities, as the host duo always involves the audience in the discussion. “Hand aufs Harz on Tour” is a live event format produced by the Handball Bundesliga and the German Handball Federation in cooperation with the concert and event agency Heesen Media. The event series is hosted by Dyn Media presenters Anett Sattler and Markus Götz.
