A cordial invitation: On May 22, we will deal with the central themes and arguments from Hannah Arendt's short essay "We Refugees". In this essay, the justifiably famous thinker addresses the experiences of #refugees, the challenges of uprooting and the difficulties they face in a new society. She does not put her own experiences to one side. Rather, she uses them as a starting point to reflect on identity and belonging. In this thinking and discussion seminar with Markus Melchers, we will take a philosophical look at the concepts of home and alienation as well as society's responsibility towards the vulnerable:
