home theater. INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS - OmU

New York, 1961: Llewyn Davis lives for folk music, but his big breakthrough has yet to come. While up-and-coming musicians are busy in the clubs of Greenwich Village, Llewyn shuttles between small gigs and song recordings. Night after night, he looks for a new place to sleep and usually ends up with musician friends like Jim and Jane, with whom he has more than a superficial friendship. But Llewyn can only express his feelings in music and not in real life, and so he lets himself drift on - from New York to Chicago and back again, just like the characters in the folk songs.
