Helmfried von Lüttichau – „Weil’s raus muss“
In the organizer's words:
Helmfried von Lüttichau – “Because It Has to Come Out”
Ideally, you have your whole life to create your first solo show. By the second one, the pressure to live up to expectations is already setting in.
After more than 200 performances of his first show, “plugged,” Helmfried von Lüttichau returns to the stage with new stories, thoughts, and melodies. But how do you make sense of everything that’s accumulated over four years on tour? What belongs in the show—and what has to go for good?
In “Weil’s raus muss,” von Lüttichau tells stories, acts, and sings about life, love, and growing older. His own songs meet secretly enjoyed pop hits from the 1970s; a protest song might even meet a lyrical love song. The actor, author, and musician combines humor with life experience while retaining the freedom to try out new things—even on stage.
A personal and musical evening that doesn’t fully organize the supposed chaos, but rather uses it productively. Because some thoughts don’t have to be perfect. They just have to get out first.
