Herbert Knebels Affentheater - "Voll Karacho!"

The new program "Voll Karacho!" is about a caesura: After the long-time drummer, "der Trainer", has taken his well-deserved retirement due to his extravagant touring life, the warhorses Herbert Knebel, Ozzy Ostermann and Ernst Pichel present themselves in a new, powerful formation. The "senior rockers" are supported by a brass section with Tomek and Ludek as well as the new man at the "shooting gallery", "Bumm-Bumm" Roy from Remscheid. Together, they set off top-class cabaret fireworks that combine the usual biting jokes with hot rhythms. Whether it's about the pitfalls of modern technology or absurd observations in an allotment garden - Herbert Knebel is guaranteed to leave no dry eye.

Even after a proud 37 years on the boards that mean the world, the gentlemen of Herbert Knebel's Affentheater are far from thinking about retirement. The ensemble is no longer a stranger to audiences in Monheim am Rhein: Herbert Knebel, alias Uwe Lyko, has already made several guest appearances in the city, most recently delighting audiences in the Aula am Berliner Ring in 2022 with his unmistakable Ruhrpott charm. Since its foundation in 1988, the Affentheater has stood for a unique mixture of heartbreakingly funny everyday grumbling and musical passion.
