In the organizer's words:
The school bell is ringing again in Monheim am Rhein: after his acclaimed guest performance in 2022, state-certified German teacher Johannes Schröder returns in 2027 and transforms the Great Hall of the Kulturraffinerie K714 into what is probably the funniest classroom in Germany. In his current solo program "Der Rest ist Hausaufgabe", the "overhead projector turned human" takes an ironic look at modern school life between group puzzles and digital change. What began as humorous self-defense after twelve years of school service has long since developed into a cult. After his comedy training in Toronto and the debut "World of Lehrkraft", the Cologne resident by choice celebrated sensational success with the "Instagrammatik" program, which culminated in the largest detention hour in Europe in the "Rudolf Weber" arena in Oberhausen in 2024.
In addition to his sold-out tours through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Mr. Schröder is a permanent fixture in the media landscape. He is a regular guest on TV shows such as "Nuhr im Ersten", "Nightwash" and "Mitternachtsspitzen" and invites prominent guests to sit in on his podcast "Nachsitzen mit Herr(n) Schröder!". He also proves his expertise as the Spiegel bestselling author of the books "World of Lehrkraft" and "Instagrammatik". He has already been awarded prestigious prizes such as the "Stuttgarter Besen" and the "Prix Pantheon" for his razor-sharp punchlines. So if you want to know how to square the circle of chairs, get ready. Because in Monheim am Rhein it will soon be time to get your tablets out, log in and join in!
