“How is the body to move when seen as rain?“ | Workshop mit Angus Balbernie (UK)

After many years of dance practice, Angus suggests looking at improvisation in the same way as one experiences a landscape.

How can landscape be performed? How might the body move if it is understood as rain?

Should we, as older people or people who move differently physically, struggle to achieve a certain 'accepted' form? Or move our bodies into those forms that they take on their own particular paths?
Angus suggests that, much like nature, we need to reshape ourselves with each step and in each moment if we are to enjoy and celebrate our own journey.

This workshop will explore ideas around physicality and imagination, exploring the improvising body as we would explore a landscape...
