HTRK
HTRK ["Hate Rock"], the Australian duo consisting of Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang, possesses the extraordinary ability to condense musical moods into a unique, smoldering intensity. Their songs are often structured like encrypted fantasies and delve deep into the intoxicating realms of dub, dreams, and memory.
They create music that captures not only the weight and beauty of the world, but also its surreal humor and inexplicable strokes of luck. In doing so, they map out desire, intimacy, and spirituality in a way that few others can. HTRK’s albums have been released on labels including Fire, Blast First Petite, Boomkat Editions, and Ghostly International. For their latest album,*Rhinestones*, they founded their own label, N&J Blueberries.
