They are exhausting for everyone involved. But they are absolutely necessary - because only in this way can people and societies develop further.

Alice Hasters confronts the greatest fears of the present time and offers an outlook - enlightening, personal and, above all, confident.

Alice Hasters was born in Cologne in 1989. She studied journalism in Munich and works for the "Tagesschau" and RBB, among others. She talks with Maxi Häcke about feminism and pop culture in the monthly podcast "Feuer&Brot." Her first book "What white people don't want to hear about racism, but should know" made her a Spiegel bestselling author. Alice Hasters lives in Berlin. She was awarded the Bert Donnepp Prize 2023.

Fatima Khan was born in Bhola/Bangladesh in 1987 and grew up in Cologne. She is an author, artist, curator and presenter. She studied Ancient Languages and Cultures - Classical Literature and German Studies at the University of Cologne. In 2018, she was the initiator and co-founder of q[lit]*clgn, the first feminist literature festival in Germany. Since 2022, she has been studying Media Arts/Literary Writing in the postgraduate diploma program at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.
