In the organizer's words:
Ingo Appelt is going on tour with his program "Männer Nerven Stark" (Strong Nerves of Men) to drive the daily grind out of his audience for two and a half hours. Ingo has hung up his muzzle, he hasn't mellowed and still dances relentlessly on the fine line of the waistline.
In "Männer Nerven Stark", Ingo dissects our interactions with each other in a way that is both wonderful and pointed like no other. Nothing is safe from him - from communication between the sexes to the little quirks and gripes that make life difficult. Because who is to blame for the misery? The men, of course! In a world full of faux pas, Ingo lends them a helping hand. For the women, for peace. He is the "safe space" of laughter, the last bastion against philistinism.
Ingo Appelt is one of Germany's best-known comedians and cabaret artists. Born in Essen, a family man, SPD member and self-confessed atheist, he is known for his provocative style, which he implements using the "verbal sledgehammer" method. So the following applies to Ingo Appelt: Don't worry: what happens on Appelt stays on Appelt. Laugh at what breaks you - comedy from 18!
