Iridescent Deepfake

Soft Spot Studio from Cologne produces textile art and interior objects. The two founders, Saskia Wragge and Frauke Schneider, studied sustainable design and attach great importance to resource-conserving production, which is why the majority of their materials are sourced second-hand and processed into unique pieces. Their style is playful and fun-driven, resulting in small series depending on the material available and current interest.

The current series "Iridescent Deep Fake" deals with the state of fixed iridescence and the question of whether the image of iridescence is still such. It will be exhibited exclusively at the FABRIKAT Mid Street Gallery between December 9-16, 2023. Some pieces from her Soft Terrazzo collection will also be on display.
