Jahresabschluss Konzert - Walking On Rivers

Since their debut album "Off the Trails", released in 2019, the Dortmund indie trio "Walking on Rivers" have become an integral part of the Ruhr region's musical landscape. That doesn't seem all that long ago, but the band has already sold out shows at Dortmund's Oma Doris, the FZW Club, the Trompete in Bochum, tours throughout Germany, support shows for Alice Merton and numerous festival appearances such as at the Juicy Beats Festival, Traumzeit Festival, Pfingst Open Air Werden and the Tempel Folkfestival. During the forced live break due to the pandemic, the band also produced a second EP called "Time to Lose Control" together with Cologne-based producer Sven Ludwig (OK Kid, Fil Bo Riva, Lina Maly), which was released in mid-2021. 3,000,000 streams and over 30 concerts under coronavirus restrictions later, the band are currently working on their debut album and want to finally leave the pandemic behind them. To celebrate this, Walking on Rivers will be coming to Bahnhof Langendreer on 08.12.2023 for their 2023 end-of-year show including some specials. The band will be playing previously unreleased songs live for the first time, there will be a research project as part of the musicological concert experience research at the University of Cologne and, of course, there will be a special guest.
