Jakuzi is an Istanbul-based synth-pop band known for blending darkwave, post-punk, and new wave influences with Turkish lyrics. Founded in 2015 by Kutay Soyocak, the band quickly gained attention with their debut album, *Fantezi Müzik* (2017), which was later re-released by the Berlin-based label City Slang. Their melancholic yet danceable sound, inspired by artists like John Maus and Depeche Mode, has resonated with audiences both in Turkey and internationally.
Jakuzi
Their second album, *Hata Payı* (2019), further solidified their reputation with a darker and more introspective sound. The band’s latest album, *Madalyon I* (2024), continues their evolution, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and emotional struggle with a refined, cinematic production style. Jakuzi has toured extensively across Europe, performing at major festivals and venues, and has built a loyal fan base through their distinctive aesthetic, emotional depth, and dynamic live performances.
