Together with the Brazilian double bassist Rafael de Sousa, the Californian drummer Nathan Carruthers and the German pianist Pablo Struff, the German-English saxophonist Edi May presents a new line-up in the jazz quartet. Edi is winner of the Jazz Prize of the Gasteig Competition, winner of the Kurt Maas Jazz Award and alumni of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. With his quartet as the opener of today's session, he provides jazz standards, jazz-inspired original compositions and the inviting atmosphere.
