Fola Dada

Fola Dada can simply do it: draw her listeners into her world very quickly, captivate them in a gentle way, bewitch them, touch them. How does she do this? With her character, her warm timbre and nuances, even the faintest of which are radiant. There is no emotional impulse that does not appear in Fola Dada's multi-stylistic interpretation of jazz. With her engaging vocals, she covers the entire range of human feelings and knows like few others how to give every word the appropriate meaning in meaningful lyrics.

As her name suggests, Fola Dada comes from the Ländle. She has rendered outstanding services to the music scene in Baden Württemberg in various capacities for many years. Apart from representative activities and teaching, the daughter of a German mother and a Nigerian father has attracted attention in projects with Joo Kraus or Rainer Tempel, with Hattler, the SWR Big Band, David Helbock's Random/Control or with solo programs.

In 2022, Fola Dada was awarded the German Jazz Prize in the jazz singing category
