The Argentine-German artist Patricio Böttcher, born in Buenos Aires in 1987, is a versatile woodwind player and composer. He began his musical career by studying the flute before expanding his repertoire to include the saxophone and clarinet, establishing himself as a versatile multi-instrumentalist on woodwinds.

In Buenos Aires, he contributed to several album productions with jazz and South American music ensembles and performed regularly in jazz clubs and concert halls. In 2022, he moved to Germany and has since been part of Berlin’s vibrant jazz scene. In addition to his live performances, Böttcher has established himself as a sought-after studio musician, contributing arrangements and woodwind recordings for artists across various genres on an international level.

His current project presents a distinctive sound that blends elements of Argentine folk music with modern jazz and improvisation. Inspired by his personal experiences of setting out, traveling, and discovering new cultures, his music builds a meaningful bridge between his roots and his life today.

Juan Borgatti is an Argentine jazz guitarist, composer, and music producer based in Berlin. Known for his fusion of Argentine folk and modern jazz, he has established himself in the Berlin music scene, performs regularly at venues such as Peppi Guggenheim, and has released singles like "Rumbaltona" and "Hinterhof." He is a co-founder of The Chee-Awai Project, where he serves as producer and bassist, blending influences ranging from pop to intimate acoustic soundscapes.

Lisa Hoppe: born in 1988 in Rotenburg (Wümme), she attended the University of the Arts Bremen, where she studied jazz double bass. This was followed by stints in Bern and New York. Since 2014, Hoppe has been a member of the chamber music trio Esche, with whom she released three albums. In 2018, she founded her own band, “Third Reality,” with saxophonist David Leon and guitarist Tal Yahalom. Following their debut album *The Mighty Unlikely*, released on JazzHausMusik, came the EPs *The Lightness of Change* (2020) and *Dinner with Abstract Poetry* (2022). Her quintet Ysop was awarded the BeJazz TransNational Grant in 2022.

Axel Filip: As a composer, the Argentine drummer explores the relationship between jazz, improvisation, poetry, and folk music, creating soundscapes that evoke complex yet deeply felt emotions.
He earned a B.A. in jazz music from the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel de Falla in Buenos Aires and, among other degrees, the European Jazz Master’s degree from the Faculty of Music at NTNU (Trondheim).
As a bandleader, he has released several albums, including “Sesión Efénea” (Club del disco 2020), “Sendero” (ears&eyes Records 2021), and “Habitat” (Unit Records 2023).
