On this evening, Carlotta Armbruster brings together a quartet of musicians from Amsterdam, Berlin and Cologne.

Some of the four members already know each other from other musical contexts: Carlotta Armbruster and Tim Scherer performed together on the stage of the Elbphilharmonie in 2025 at the Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy, while Alejandro Martin Puchau and Jakob Jäger met through a cooperation project between the Bundesjazzorchester and the NJJO, its Dutch counterpart.

However, this is the first time the four musicians have met in this constellation. They perform original compositions by all participants, drawing on their shared experience, curiosity, playful openness and the courage to break new ground together. Contemporary, modern jazz that is not restricted by geographical or musical boundaries.
