The Moritz Kröger Quartet is a young jazz quartet from Cologne, consisting of four musicians from the Cologne jazz scene. The band primarily plays original compositions by trombonist Moritz

Kröger. Their sound falls within the realm of modern jazz and draws inspiration from artists such as Avishai Cohen, the Brian Blade Fellowship, and Marquis Hill: vocal-like, memorable melodies carried by beautiful harmonies and a driving groove.
