The proceeds of the Johannesfest are for the work with people with disabilities in our community.

People with and without disabilities celebrate together! Over 50 years ago, Pastor Eberhard Viertel initiated the idea of children and young people from the Kreuznacher Diakonie coming to Cologne for the Johannesfest weekend. Today, all community groups and many residents of the Veedels are involved. The Johannesfest has always remained committed to the idea of inclusion.
