What does it mean to be gentle, courageous, responsible, black, woman, mother in today's world?
Joy Bogat searches for answers and takes her listeners along for the ride.

Carried by Bogat's clear, extraordinary voice, her music drifts between soul, alternative RnB and indie. Synthesizers and vocals, spoken word and grooving beats interweave with a playful lightness that is second to none - and is absolutely infectious.

On the "What It Means To..." tour, Joy Bogat can now be experienced as a quartet for the first time. "The full band sound brings my songs to life in a completely different way live," says the artist from Hanover. "We completely dispense with backing tracks, it becomes a very organic sound, with live choirs and instruments - the essence of my music comes out in a completely different way."

New songs will also find their way onto stages across Germany for the first time in the fall, joining the previous two EPs and the debut album "Fabric of Dreams" (Listenrecords 2024). They will certainly very quickly become further reasons why Joy Bogat's live shows are said to have an inspiring, empowering, almost healing effect.

She was able to demonstrate this last year in the Berlin Philharmonie, on ZDF Morgenmagazin and at the Reeperbahn Festival, among others.

ANTONÍ is a singer-songwriter from Leipzig who combines mystical, searching melodies with acoustic elements and organic electronics. Her debut album Holding Tight Lightly, created in 2022/23 at Sen Bakkal Studio in Istanbul, was released in 2024 and received widespread media attention; since that year she has also been performing with a full band on numerous stages. With "Salt Town", her first release on Listenrecords on October 31, 2025, she shows a more powerful side of her indie folk sound and opens a new chapter.
