What the period from 1933-1945 meant for Judaism in Germany is well known. But how was it possible for Jewish life to re-emerge in Germany after the catastrophe? What has shaped developments in recent decades? What defines the life situation(s) and identity(ies) of Jews in Germany today? We want to explore these questions and approach possible answers.
