Die Odyssee

After the Trojan War, King Odysseus (Matt Damon) wants to return to Ithaca to be reunited with his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and his son Telemachus (Tom Holland). But the journey home proves more difficult than expected, as Odysseus faces a long adventure full of dangers. Among others, he must contend with the goddess Calypso (Charlize Theron), the cyclops Polyphemus (Bill Irwin), and the sorceress Circe (Samantha Morton). Meanwhile, the goddess Athena (Zendaya) travels to Odysseus’s homeland of Ithaca and urges Telemachus to set out in search of his father. He therefore goes to King Menelaus of Sparta (Jon Berthal), Odysseus’s comrade-in-arms in the Trojan War, and asks him for advice.
