In the organizer's words:
The Federal Agency for Civic Education/bpb cordially invites you to the four screenings of the film series "Young and Radical" at the Harmonie, Grünwälderstraße 16-18.
How do young people come to join radical ideologies or groups? What role do personal, social and political factors play in this process? And what does this mean for those affected, their families and society as a whole?
The film series addresses these questions and invites viewers to look at radicalization processes among young people from different perspectives.
The screenings will be followed by moderated panel discussions with filmmakers and content experts who will classify and explain the film content. The audience will have the opportunity to get involved and ask their own questions.
To kick off the series on May 19, we welcome director Constanze Klaue and a representative of the Mobile Counseling Service against Right-Wing Extremism to the panel discussion following the screening of Mit der Faust in die Welt schlagen. Together they will provide insights into the cinematic examination of right-wing extremist radicalization processes and classify what they have seen from an artistic and preventative perspective.
