Kabeaushé | Pop-Kultur 2024

The forward-thinking music of Kabeaushé - let's describe it as: pulsating and ultra-catchy pop with colorful influences from hip-hop and avant-garde, shot through a futuristic rave filter - seems randomly thrown together at first glance. But everything here is exactly where it should be: it's music that throws sounds at you from all directions (stacked voices, chopped up percussion loops) and thus stirs things up in the best possible way - as if several people were standing in a circle and operating various samples and drum computers at the same time. As you could already see at the Pop-Kultur Festival 2022, Kabeaushé packs all of this into a show that becomes an ecstatic demolition party. On stage, Kabeaushé transforms into his alter ego "the Shé", while the audience jumps up and down in the flickering light. Really, really great.
