A date that starts off romantically, but somehow doesn't end up being much more than cake-eating. Standing in the schoolyard and asking yourself: "Why is everyone one of the cool kids and I'm always just standing next to them?" Noticing in the supermarket that there are condoms in the drugstore section but still no wipes. Running into walls and feeling desperate because: "I want to change everything, I just don't know how". As long as the Leipzig band Kapa Tult are still looking for a solution to these problems, they simply sing about them and hope for like-minded people. They sound like "Wir sind Helden im Studi-Heim", like "Schnipo Schranke mit Melodie-Putschmittel" and like "Blond-Geschwister im Herzen" (Julia Köhler, Minutenmusik). After the Leipzig band's debut album "Es schmeckt nicht" was released in summer 2023, the first festivals and support shows for Von Wegen Lisbeth and Das Lumpenpack followed, as well as their first tour. Now Kapa Tult are going on another headlining tour in April 2024.
