DJ MicDi – Musical Journeys Through the Middle Ages, Gothic, and Metal

Since 2017, DJ MicDi has been known for musical journeys spanning the Middle Ages, folk, gothic, rock, and metal—atmospheric, dramatic, and always with a knack for the right moment.

His sets are not mere strings of songs, but sonic stories full of contrasts: sometimes mystical and solemn, sometimes brutal and energetic, and at other times danceable, emotional, or surprising. He blends modern intensity with medieval sounds, Nordic ritual music, dark romanticism, and epic anthems to create a style all his own.

MicDi rose to prominence as the resident DJ at the legendary Nerodom in Munich, where he helped shape the musical identity of the Medieval Dance Night and Rockshock for many years. After the club closed, he struck out on his own and founded LUNATICA NOCTIS, his own successful event series at Feierwerk in Munich.

In addition, he regularly performs at various clubs and events in the gothic, medieval, and alternative scenes—including Born To Rock in Munich, the Rockfabrik in Augsburg, the Melodrom in Kaufbeuren, as well as at events in Landshut, Nuremberg, Kassel, and other cities. He is also the host and co-organizer of the scene event THE LEGACY at CRASH in Munich.

The focus is always on one thing: atmosphere, community, and the shared experience on the dance floor, as well as sonic journeys that delight in defying expectations and breaking genre boundaries.
