Kid Kapichi on tour in Germany with new album from November

Kid Kapichi belong to a new generation of punk bands who don't shy away from weaving political activism into their sound, on the contrary: a trademark of the quartet is to hold up an unembellished mirror to society in their brute songs. One of many reasons why the group from Hastings is one of the most important up-and-coming British bands in their genre. Formed during the Covid pandemic, it's no wonder that Kid Kapichi have been displaying a fury and urgency that is second to none ever since their self-produced debut album "This Time Next Year". The subsequent "Here's What You Could Have Won" in 2022 then brought the breakthrough in the UK indie and punk scene, where Kid Kapichi were celebrated not only for their raw, uncompromising punk sound but above all for the political level in their songs. Whether it's Brexit, social inequality or the general frustration that regularly haunts people in view of the world situation - the band's songs address exactly what's on their minds and those around them. With their new album "Fearless Nature", Kid Kapichi are taking a new direction for the first time. The change in the band line-up might seem obvious, but it's not just their line-up that heralds a new era for the Brits. While the quartet's previous works were dominated by stories and observations of other people and social issues, singer Jack Wilson allows an inward look for the first time on "Fearless Nature". The sharp and powerful instrumentals remain, but they are supplemented for the first time with more mature, reflective lyrics from the singer's inner life with an authentic vulnerability around the topic of mental health. But anyone who has been involved with the band for a while knows that the title of the fourth album "Fearless Nature" is no coincidence. Since their formation, the Brits have proven that they are true fearless forces of nature. A quality that can be experienced above all live. Concert shows have always been the focus of the band's life, and Kid Kapichi are known for their boundless energy and extremely intense sets. Anyone who wants to see this for themselves will get the chance to do so five times in Germany at the end of the year as part of the "Down The Rabbit Hole" tour.
