Kinetische Kunst: Mobile gestalten - Schnupper-Workshop im November

A different kind of Friday night: In this introductory workshop, you’ll draw inspiration from Alexander Calder’s kinetic sculptures and create your own moving object: a mobile.

Inspired by the mobiles of artist Alexander Calder, you’ll discover how to create floating sculptures out of wire, paper, and lightweight materials—sculptures that come to life through balance, weight, and movement.

Under the guidance of designer, set designer, and goldsmith Isabell Ziegler, you’ll develop your own ideas, experiment with form, materials, and construction, and make your sculpture float.

No prior experience is required—just a love of design, craftsmanship, and experimentation. 

We’ll provide a basic supply of materials and tools. Feel free to bring any materials you’d like to experiment with: wire, pictures, fabric scraps, paper, etc.
