Germany is at a historic turning point: for the first time since 1945, a migration policy resolution is adopted in the Bundestag in 2025 - with the support of the AfD. A paradigm shift is on the horizon: away from the protection of refugees and towards isolation and deterrence.
To mark the annual Day for Refugees, we are showing the film KEIN LAND FÜR NIEMAND - ABSCHOTTUNG EINES EINWANDERUNGSLANDES from 2025 by Max Ahrens and Maik Lüdemann.
The film deals with the consequences of a restrictive European and German migration policy. It also addresses the social and political dynamics of an increasing policy of isolation.
Following the film, Jens P. Neumann will answer questions and talk about his work. Jens P. Neumann is an activist and works as a campaigner for Sea-Eye e.V.. Previously, he worked for many years as a filmmaker, label operator, music manager and producer, working at the interface of culture, media and social commitment. Today, he develops campaigns, creative projects and collaborations around sea rescue, human rights and social cohesion. He combines political communication with storytelling, pop culture and activism. He is driven by the conviction that social change does not come about through arguments alone, but above all through stories, images and encounters that touch people and move them to action.
The documentary KEIN LAND FÜR NIEMAND - ABSCHOTTUNG EINES EINWANDERUNGSLANDES goes in search of the causes of this political caesura. Made possible by the founding association for a future foundation of the PARTEI, named after T. Willibald Adorno e.V.
