The Sound and Reality course at the Institute of Music and Media is an exciting box, the lid of which pops open with a bounce due to the vital and fresh sounds and music from within. Curated by Phillip Schulze, the series of the same name in the foyer is now serving up acoustic, stimulating and wacky music between experiment and pop, structure and freedom for the third time: Edis Ludwig from the Düsseldorf Düsterboys teams up with Elisa Kühnl and focuses on the material glass in their multi-channel performance! Shuoxin Tan takes a journey into the listener's inner space with her quadraphonic computer music. Her composition Numbers and Events explores otoacoustic emissions. Ever heard of it? Not least: Emil Theodor Felhofer, Lennart Posch, Matthias Schneiderbanger and Simon Waskow play a quadraphonic concert.
