Sound spaces - voice in the cosmos of shells

A vocal concert by soprano Sunja Wehmeier

As part of the exhibition "99 bowls - a cosmos" by ceramic artist Young-Jae Lee, soprano Sunja Wehmeier will perform a musical program in three short interventions in the exhibition space.

Selected arias and songs unfold a subtle dialog with the clear forms and subtle presence of the ceramic works. The human voice moves between sound and silence and opens up an acoustic resonance space within the exhibition.

Like a soft breath, the music permeates the room and accompanies the viewing of the works. This creates moments of attention and pause in which sound, form and material meet in a sensual way.
