Can music be a means of communication between humans and animals? With instruments, video snippets, puppet parts and masks, we get to the bottom of the musicality of animals, glue and cookies.
It chirps, it bangs, it sounds. A purring, a humming, a thump. In KNALLKREBS, KUCKUCK & CO, the artists set out to finally be able to communicate with animals - with the help of music. Do animals make music? If so - can we make music together? Anton Fuchs, Maj Lilith Hemmesmann and Anso Dautz want to answer these questions. Sound experiments, object theater and research excursions into the alluvial forest result in a musical performance that skips amiably over the abysses of Markaber. Using instruments, video snippets, puppets, masks and other found objects, they get to the bottom of the musicality of animals, glue and cookies.
But don't worry - no animals will be harmed.
