"Tango de cologne" Live Mitschnitt im o-ton

We would like to draw your attention to a particularly beautiful and extraordinary concert here at o-ton and cordially invite you to attend (Free admission!). Henrik Albrecht (better known as a composer for radio, film and stage) not only plays a very fine bandoneon, but is now coming to o-ton exclusively with his ensemble for a concert recording. We are looking forward to a very atmospheric evening with his excellent fellow musicians and expect nothing less than a spirited performance of Rhenish-Argentine "Tango de Cologne" with plenty of elegance and corazon.

Since its foundation in 2020, the tango ensemble with musicians from the renowned Cologne Gürzenich Orchestra, among others, has developed into a tango formation that is in demand throughout Germany. This is not least due to the very special touch that this ensemble gives the tango. Not only brilliantly played Argentinian tangos can be heard here, but also the "Rhenish tango" created by this Cologne ensemble. You rarely hear so much corazon in Cologne. Many a smile can be seen on the dance floor when a dancing couple, deeply immersed in their tango, suddenly discover the well-known Rhenish melodies in compositions such as: "En nuestro Barrio", "Dejamos la Catedral" or "Bebes una Tambien".
