There is Dub, but it echoes far beyond the boundaries of the genre. There's a summery hint of reggae, but it's refreshingly different than usual. It sounds extremely casual, but also wonderfully danceable. There are witty lyrics, but ultimately it's all about the listening experience.

It's what JPATTERSSON calls PROGaDUB - after all, he doesn't come from Jamaica, but from the east of the German Federal Republic. Inspired by heavyweight bass, bike rides and Caribbean riddims, by chocolate, oldschool groovebox sounds and the carefree ruckus of children playing in the street, the young talent has created a style that is first and foremost diverse. In some places there is a hint of Balkan sound, in others a touch of jazz.

In keeping with World Peace Day, we would be delighted if you could bring a symbol of peace, hang it on our peace rope and swap them with each other - because peace shared is great. Let's celebrate a peace serenade together with music, Dub, sun and JPATTERSSON.
