Konzert PABLO CAMPORA

PABLO CAMPORA has studied since 1983 with masters such as Manuel López Ramos (México), Eduardo Fernández and Amilcar Rodríguez Inda (Uruguay), and Baltazar Benítez (Holland). But also took master classes with other guitarists and non-guitarists such as José Tomás (Spain), Jorge Risi, Olga Pierri and Renée Pietrafessa (Uruguay). In the International Guitar Seminar of the Palestrina School of Music in Porto Alegre, he received masterclasses with Eduardo Isaac, Henrique Pintos, Martínez Zárate and Roberto Aussell. In the genre of tango he received contributions from Nicolás Ledesma, Numen Vilariño, Julio Cobelli, Ruben De Lapuente, Carlos Morales and Fredy Pérez. With the "Duo de Guitarras Latinoamericano" Cámpora has given several successful concerts in Europe (1990-1993, Spain, France, Germany). There have been recordings in the WDR Cologne and for the Deutsche Welle, about the South American guitar, and also some contributions in the studio for sound-design of the WDR. Beyond his activity as a concert guitarist, Cámpora has been very involved with South American folklore and also with the so-called flamenco "payuno". He has accompanied the "Coro Rociero" in Alicante and conducted the choir of the Spanish Cultural Center Antonio Machado, in Cologne. In Uruguay, he performed with veteran Numen Vilariño in the show "Piazzolla 93" in its 9th season. Also, in 2005, together with pianist Gonzalo Gravina, he founded the tango duo Got@n.uy, with which he has made several successful tours in Europe since 2006.
