Nude Modeling with Wax and Clay
This ongoing course focuses on the human body—not as a perfect representation, but as a living vessel of tension, movement, and expression. Together with artist Peer Holthuizen, participants explore how postures, gestures, and movement sequences can be perceived and captured through drawing and sculpture, and translated into their own visual language.
Building on nude and movement studies, the course teaches both foundational and advanced techniques of figurative modeling. The goal is to naturally render nude poses and dance postures using one’s own formal language—from the initial sketch to the finished sculpture and optional cast.
Price information:
Material costs: plus actual usage, plus modeling (expected to take 3–4 sessions), plus the cost of bronze casting, if applicable
