About the piece:
Rausch is a state of heightened perception: rhythm takes over, bodies react, and energy sets things in motion. “Tanzrausch” brings togetherthree distinctive choreographic styles from guest artists Kinsun Chan and Rachelle Anaïs Scott, as well as from Bremerhaven’s ballet director and chief choreographer Alfonso Palencia. Precision meets fluidity, control meets risk, and clear compositions meet open experimentation. The evening thrives on contrasts, tension, and physical presence—raw, sensual, electrifying—and presents contemporary dance as an immediate, surprising, and accessible art of the body.
