"Bad Godesberg", an incorporated part of Bonn, is a spa town with numerous villas and beautiful parks. When more than 170 embassies were located here, the district was prosperous, multicultural and uncomplicated. After the capital moved, numerous Arab institutions remained: the later controversial school for Arab diplomats' children, the large mosque. Godesberg is not only developing magnificently for Arabic-speaking visitors. The well-known Godesberg medical tourism is often used by Arab families who move here with their families for a cure. In recent decades, many other immigrant groups have also arrived: e.g. from Iraq and Syria, many Kurds. This is also reflected in the stores, snack bars and restaurants.
