Kultur- & Medien-Treff

Dear interested people,

We cordially invite you to join us in a convivial exchange about queer culture and media in Cologne and NRW, to develop concepts and implement projects. We are the people from the homochrom and Neue Medien associations as well as others from the queer community who are involved in our projects.

Everyone is welcome - regardless of whether they are journalists, artists or culture and media enthusiasts.

Bring your impulses, ideas or just curiosity: we are convinced that the diverse experiences, different ways of thinking and creative approaches can inspire us all and lead to great new ideas.

We look forward to seeing you at the first meeting

The associations Homochrom e.V. and "Neue Medien e.V." offer a variety of projects, offers and initiatives for the whole community:
- Filmfest homochrom (2011-2018)
- Litfest homochrom (since 2021)
- Poetry video competition "Pride Poetry" (2021)
- Scene magazine Box (since 1993)
- Contemporary witness series "Living Library" (since 2021), "Couch Talks" (since 2019) and "Queer like Cologne" (since 2023) on queer history in Cologne
- Events on current topics (e.g. "Trans - Travesty - Drag" and "Rainbow Children's Books" or in the BOX series "Stadtgespräche")
- Training workshops (e.g. on funding opportunities, digitalization of association work, podcast creation and 2024 on creative writing as well as a sign language course)
